Special Assessment Approved - Median Project ON!

The Landscape Committee would like to provide you an update on the Washington Boulevard Median Project.

At the June 21st SCHOA Board Meeting, the $400 Special Assessment to be used towards the Project was approved by the community, with a 2 to 1 vote!

I want to thank the members of the Landscape Committee – Paul Allen, Rick Etsell, Lavon Fisher, Leon Fisher, Mike Freeman, Scott Hayes, Sheila Kaufman, Linda Krippner, Steve Krippner, Tony Maggio, Ron Telles, and Bob Woods – for their time and efforts with this project.  Thank you also to all community residents for your input to help the Landscape Committee define the scope of this project and design a project that the community overwhelmingly supports!

Next Steps:  In the near future I will be meeting with Mark Lawrence of Simply Yards, to further discuss project details and the timeline.  Mark anticipates our project will begin in mid- to late October and should take approximately two (2) weeks to complete.

The Board will be sending out information regarding the special assessment within the next week.  Special assessment payments are due no later than August 31st and can be mailed in or hand delivered at our August 16th SCHOA Board Meeting.

Over the next 3 to 4 weeks, Simply Yards expects to complete the refresh projects to the Washington Court and Sundown Court islands – projects included in the basic 2018 budget.

Again, thank you all for your interest and support to keep our community looking pristine!
